Why do I need Spinning Class insurance?
Whether you’re taking a spinning class or leading one, you can be injured, accidentally injure someone else, or damage equipment or other property. Your own equipment can also be lost, stolen or damaged.
Insure4Sport’s tailored spinning class insurance makes sure you’re protected from these instances, so you can take each session with a clear head.
What does Spinning Class insurance cover?
Public Liability cover against injury or property damage:
If someone falls off a bike or tears a muscle during a spinning class you’re teaching, you could face a potentially costly compensation claim.
That’s why Insure4Sport offers Public Liability cover – to limit your legal accountability if a claim is made against you for third party injury or property damage, so that the costs of such claims don’t damage your business.
- Our tailored Public Liability starts at £1 million, which costs £4.12 per month* for instructors and £1.27 a month* for participants.
- You also get £1 million Professional Indemnity cover free when you take out Insure4Sport’s Public Liability cover, protecting you against claims arising from instructions you’ve given.
Personal Accident cover if you require treatment:
Even though it’s a low impact sport, spinning can still lead to accidental injuries - like falling when you dismount - leaving you facing bills for physiotherapy and potentially lost income.
Insure4Sport’s Personal Accident cover is designed to give you peace of mind, by contributing towards the costs of physiotherapy or dental treatment, with an additional benefit provided for hospitalisation and permanent disablement.
- Insure4Sport provides up to £50,000 Personal Accident cover, with prices starting at just £1.13 per month for both participants and instructors*.
- You can also add Loss of Earnings cover from £2.25 per month for both participants and instructors*.
Compensation for equipment repairs and replacements:
If the equipment you use during a spin class – such as bikes, resistance bands or sound streaming devices – is lost, stolen or damaged, you might find it impossible to work.
With Insure4Sport’s Equipment Cover, you can get reimbursements and repairs in no time.
- We’ll cover your equipment against loss, theft or damage from as little as £1.13 a month for participants and instructors.*
- If the item is less than one year old - and it was bought new - we’ll replace it New-for-Old. We’ll make repairs or organise replacements up to the figure stated in your Insurance Schedule.
