Public Liability protects against injury or property damage:
One bad injury, mistimed tackle or misplaced shot could result in you paying large sums of money if you don’t have Public Liability.
If you’re a coach, a member of your team might injure themselves and hold you responsible. They could also take a shot which accidentally damages someone’s car or breaks a window.
If you’re a player, you might accidentally injure another player and they could take legal action against you.
In these instances, having Public Liability is essential. Public Liability protects your legal liability if a claim is made against you for third party injury or property damage.
Our Public Liability insurance can provide up to £10 million of cover, depending on your requirements.
This includes FREE £1 million of Professional Indemnity cover, which protects you from claims relating to instructions you’ve given to someone else.
Personal Accident cover if you require treatment:
For footballers at any level, sustaining a serious injury is a traumatic experience.
But for those outside the professional game, it can be even more detrimental if your injuries result in physiotherapy costs or no income for a long period of time.
Thankfully, our Personal Accident cover will cover you for up to £500 if you’re admitted to hospital, or require physiotherapy or dental treatment from a football injury. This cover also provides a benefit for accidental death and permanent total disablement.
On top of this, we offer a Loss of Earnings weekly allowance which provides you with up to £750 a week of compensation for up to 52 weeks if you cannot attend work following a footballing accident.
Compensation for equipment repairs and replacements:
It’s safe to say that today’s football equipment, from boots to goalkeeper gloves, is considerably more expensive than it used to be.
Therefore, imagine if this equipment was lost, stolen or damaged and you desperately needed repairs or replacements.
If you didn’t have suitable Equipment cover, you would have to pay for these repairs or replacements out of your own pocket.
This is why Insure4Sport offers specialist Equipment cover. And if your equipment is less than a year old - and you bought it new - we’ll replace it New-for-Old. What’s more, we offer free cover on the first £250 worth of equipment. This means for example, if you wish to insure £750 of equipment, you will only pay for £500 worth.
