And if, you are hospitalised through an injury that occurred in the gym, you’re covered for up to £30 per day.
You can add all this optional extra cover to your gym insurance policy for just £20, and giving you the peace of mind you need to train even harder.
We also offer a loss of earnings option. For a small fee on top of your premium, you could insure against financial uncertainty. For example, if you were to injure yourself training and that meant that you were unable to work, depending on the level of cover you choose, you would receive what may be a much needed weekly allowance.
And for those that have invested in equipment, we have a specialist extra equipment cover option. This is ideal for personal trainers who provide their own equipment for client sessions and for those that workout at home using their own equipment. And finally, to finish off our unbeatable gym insurance cover, we have an option that will cover you anywhere in the world whilst at the gym.
If you train others, remember we also offer specialist personal trainer insurance to keep you covered while you do your job.
Why do I need personal sports insurance?
Unfortunately, with most sports, there’s often a risk of suffering an injury which could not only stop you playing, but also affect your ability to work and earn for a period of time. We offer Personal Accident and Loss of Earnings cover to help with unexpected costs, so you can focus on getting back into the game.
Take a look at the following examples of why every amateur sports player and participant should have specialist insurance:
- You injure yourself during a session and require physio treatment.
- You suffer an injury during a session which means you can’t work and earn for a period of time.
- Your sports equipment is damaged, lost or stolen.
- You accidentally injure another participant during a session and they decide to take legal action against you.
